Thanks to all who supported our recent fund-raising drives this December. These included our Bookshop on Main Street, Cashel, the church-gate collection at Cashel & Rosegreen churches, the annual Third World Fast and our three-day bag-packing stint in Tesco’s, Cashel.
December is a particularly busy month for the Lions Club yet all members got involved ensuring the success of each event. The Club approached these projects more in hope than expectation given the downturn in the economy. However we were surprised and delighted with the results which exceeded our expectations.
The Club would like to extend our thanks to the members for giving their time with such enthusiasm. We would also like to thank the management and staff of Tesco’s, Cashel for their assistance and courtesy. Finally our thanks to everyone who contributed so generously. Every cent raised will go directly to our projects, both local and international.
