Our Charter Anniversary dinner has often been held late but never taken place early. Normally held the week of February, this year it took place in Baileys Hotel on Tuesday, January 29th. It went off very well with seventeen lions and their partners in attendance. Of course the occasion was graced by the presence of District Governor Joe Smith and his wife, Monica, who enjoyed themselves very well and sent a nice thank you note to President Paul. President Paul presented the District Governor with a piece of Rossa Pottery in honour of his visit.
